Creator events draw fans who already know the host, and once a location is posted, more people can arrive than the guest list suggests. OSS plans security around the venue, the audience, and the host, so the event feels open while the entry points stay controlled.
Before doors open, we walk the venue, review the run of show, and agree on roles with the venue team and organizers. On the day, we run the entrance and guest list, keep the host and invited talent covered, and plan how they arrive and leave.

Questions we hear often.
Do I need a permit for a creator event in Miami?
It depends on the location and what the event includes. The City of Miami, which covers Brickell, requires a special event permit for events with entertainment, sales of food, merchandise, or alcohol, temporary structures, or city services, and applications are due at least 30 days ahead. That permit can require off-duty police and private security. Miami Beach and Bayfront Park run their own permit processes, and rooms for 50 or more people must post an occupancy limit, so check with the venue and the city early.
Does the venue's security cover my event?
Venue security looks after the building and its rules. OSS focuses on your event: the host, the invited talent, the guest list, and the meetup line, and works alongside venue security so each team knows its role.
How many security staff does my event need?
It depends on the headcount, the layout and number of entrances, whether alcohol is served, and how well known the host is. A common starting point is one officer per 50 to 100 guests, with more for crowded or high-profile events. The final number is set after the venue walkthrough.
What should I send when I request event security?
The date and times, the venue, the expected headcount, whether the event is ticketed, invite-only, or open, whether the location will be posted, who is attending, and the run of show if you have one.
